ELECTRIC TRAVEL

Tesla Model 3 on longer journeys in Bavaria: plan it well.

The Tesla Model 3 Long Range Dual Motor combines quiet travel with strong performance. A relaxed longer journey depends less on a theoretical range figure than on realistic planning around the route, weather, speed, charging points and breaks.

Tesla Model 3 on longer journeys in Bavaria: plan it well.
01

Think through the complete route before departure

Plan the outward and return journeys, local driving and a reserve. Motorway speed, low temperatures, climbs and load can all change energy consumption.

Good planning does not depend on the final available percentage. It combines charging stops with useful breaks and keeps an alternative available if a station is occupied or unavailable.

02

Charging time is part of the journey time

For longer journeys, consider not only the distance but also the desired charge level on arrival and return. Navigation and charging information support planning but do not replace the driver's responsibility.

The charge level documented at handover and the confirmed return rule are decisive. Keep records of chargeable charging sessions.

03

Do not estimate mileage too narrowly

The Tesla Model 3 includes the daily mileage published on its vehicle page. For a round trip, consider local roads, excursions and journeys to charging infrastructure.

Additional +100, +200 or +500 km packages can be selected in advance, making the total more predictable when the approximate route is already known.

04

State cross-border and special routes in advance

Planned countries and special routes must be included in the enquiry and confirmed by email before the rental begins, regardless of whether the technical navigation suggests the route.

Before return, review personal data, charging accessories, charge level, vehicle condition and the agreed time. This keeps the joint return clearly documented.

FAQ

Answered briefly.

Is the Tesla Model 3 suitable for longer motorway journeys?

Yes, when the route, charging stops and reserves are planned realistically. Weather, speed and load affect actual consumption.

Must I return it with the same charge level?

The level documented at handover and confirmed in the offer or agreement is decisive.

Are charging costs included in the rental price?

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, charging and parking costs incurred during the journey are paid by the renter.

May I take the Tesla across a border?

Only when the planned countries and route have been approved in writing before the rental begins.
