Is a rental enquiry already a binding booking?
No. Your enquiry is non-binding. A booking becomes binding only after PRESTIVEX has checked availability and driver requirements, sent the final offer and both parties have confirmed the rental agreement.
How is vehicle availability checked?
The selected period is checked against confirmed reservations. Availability displayed online is provisional until PRESTIVEX has personally reviewed and confirmed the enquiry.
Which documents do I need?
The main driver needs a valid category B driving licence, a valid identity document and a payment method accepted for the rental price and deposit. Vehicle-specific age and licence-holding rules also apply.
Which countries may I drive to?
Travel is permitted in Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and France. Every trip outside Germany requires prior written approval.
How do the deposit and payment work?
The rental price can be paid by credit card, debit card or bank transfer. The vehicle-specific deposit is separate and is normally blocked on a suitable credit card at handover.
How must I return the fuel or battery level?
Combustion and hybrid vehicles must be returned with the same documented fuel level as at handover. Chargeable vehicles are handed over with at least 80% battery and must be returned with the agreed charge level.
